When Kully & I decided to sell our home we could think of no better person to assist us. This being a company relocation that was time sensitive just before the holidays was a stressful situation for us. However, you and the entire family got involved with the project and we had to do very little to assist. From staging the house, to the broker tour and a single open house, the process was seamless. Unbelievably, the house sold right after the broker tour and we are very happy customers and fans for a lifetime. Your company is small but worked like a band of thousands and we can confidently say that this was the sweetest experience of selling a home. Even though you had a family emergency that took you to Brazil, Steve and your parents kept things moving whilst you monitored from afar. The personal touch went along way to make a stressful experience of selling a home very easy and we were done with the 30 day close. My wife and I were not looking forward at all to the daunting task of selling our home. We were also buying another house contingent on the sale of this one, so we needed a smooth and uneventful sale. We reached out to The Ohlmeyer Team to enlist their help, and from that call on, everything fell into place. Henry brought the team over and explained the process to us, and even began to gather input from us as to what we wanted out of this experience, and how his team could achieve that goal. Steve Ohlmeyer was our main guy, but we really had the devotion and dedication from every single person on the team. Every one of our real-estate needs were anticipated ahead of time and met with professionalism, promptness, and graciousness. I knew they had many other transactions they were dealing with, and yet we felt as if ours was the only one. They took the time to walk us through each decision making process and navigated us through the ins-and-outs of the entire transaction. But it didn’t stop there! We had a tree in our front yard that was leaning at a horrible angle that needed to be removed in a big way before our open house. Steve, Jason, Mike, and Steve L. all came over and the tree was gone. They all pitched in for the staging of our house, as well. Carmen added some ideas of her own that contributed wonderfully to a warm and inviting feel to our home. Jason became one of our dog’s best friends during many inspections where we had to leave our house, and he made her comfortable while strange people visited our home. Steve had offered help moving, but I graciously declined thinking, “he really didn’t mean that gesture.” When moving day came, we found ourselves short-handed, and I reluctantly called him up. “Steve, I need your help..” Steve, Jason, and Mike all came to help fill the trucks – poor Mike was sick as a dog (Thanks, Mike!). It’s these touches that The Ohlmeyer team provided that make you feel that it’s not a business transaction, but more of a community effort. It was actually as if a bunch of my friends came over to help. We closed on time, and moved into our new dream home. Steve continued to check on us to make sure all was going well, and to thank us for making his job easy. My feeling is still, “no, you made this easy for us, Steve”.
